E-Biking the Trails Above La Massana
Spring has arrived in the Pyrenees and the trails are calling. Today's ride took me up through the forest above La Massana, past traditional stone bordas and into the high meadows where the snow is just starting to melt.
This is the kind of ride you can do on a Tuesday afternoon — because the trailhead is just minutes from the front door. No car needed. No planning. Just grab the bike and go.
The e-bike makes the 800m vertical gain feel like a gentle warm-up, and the reward at the top is always the same: silence, mountain air, and views that stretch across the entire valley.
